Review:

Completely Epic. The book, written before the Obi-Wan Kenobi series, touches on how the Princess learns to be a diplomat and how she gets her flare for being so epic. We see old friends who navigate their way through the Imperial Regime, and find new friends among the Apprentice Legislature whom we will come to know more such as Vice-Admiral Amilyn Holdo. Seeing her as a young woman gives her character so much more depth. It was such a pleasure to follow these young ladies on their adventures. Leia herself is far more intelligent than anyone gives her credit for. And the big twist I knew was coming was so well played I was both surprised and heartbroken. You know there’s a traitor out there, but the reveal isn’t who you think it is. Very well played Claudia.

Personal Notes: Trying SO HARD not to spoil this book. If you love Princess Leia, you’ll love the book. Especially if you watched the series “Rebels” she’s younger than that here. But you see a lot of who she becomes and why.
