Where I’ve Been!

Renovating!

There was a literal EMERGENCY with the Bedroom situation. Dry rot kinda issues. So we were forced to quickly renovate, and although it sucked at the time, the end result was well worth it!! It’s everyone’s favorite space to hang out and watch movies or work. Of course with that came the demolition of my closet which I now do not have. So organization and cleaning was a big deal. I also got to design the space completely and pick the flooring! My Office got a nice upgrade too. I can finally find my office supplies when I need them! These two projects were the biggest aside from cutting down trees.

Adventuring!

Yeah there wasn’t much travel except for the occasional motorcycle ride or day trip to the top of a Mountain Lookout. But I’ve been spending a lot of time adventuring with Dad every chance I get! I wanted to make it a goal to live in moments this year, and I sure think I’ve succeeded!!

Painting & YouTube Things!

I not only started some small painting tutorials on YouTube, but I started putting other various videos up. I’m planning on working bigger paintings as well as some personal work come 2024. They come very slowly, but other Art things do come up! Be sure to follow me HERE so you can keep up!

Cutting down trees!

Under normal circumstances I wouldn’t consider this to be a good thing, however, we did it with purpose. One, we now have firewood for this year. Two, we only cut down trees that were obstructing our Starlink!! Now we have no internet interruptions… which means I can now upload videos to YouTube without fail!! Woo!!

And before you ask…

Yes. Dad fell the trees on his ladder. Yes. He is carrying a chainsaw in one obscured hand. No. I did not help him down because I was too busy taking a picture of his dumb ass. : )

Needless to say, there’s been A LOT going on in my life since May. That’s when we lost my Grandfather (We all knew it was coming…Cancer.) so it’s been a wild ride trying to get life adjusted and keep trucking on. We have only cleaned some of his place and we use it as storage for our own things for now. It’s another project for another year.

I feel so awesome being able to spend time with other family members this year, especially Dad, and we use our time to prep for Winter as an excuse to have fun with everything we do. I spend a lot of time cooking for him while he’s home, and we like to try new dishes and things!

A lot of my work got put on hold or I was unable to share much due to the speed at which new situations arrived. But I’m coming out of it with enthusiasm and I am so excited to be finished with these really big projects! Now I have so much time for ME which means hitting goals of reading more books and just overall doing things I enjoy! I love my life. I worked hard to get it manageable to my lifestyle that I’ve wanted, and I feel like I’m finally there! So hold onto your britches, cause we’re gonna LIVE OUR DREAMS cosmic friends!
