Expected Mountain Upgrades: Water tank from metal & rust to plastic. Switching from a normal fireplace to a pellet stove. (Edit: Mom bought me a pellet stove for X-mas/Birthday so now we’ll be installing that when we can.)
Expected Studio Things: Spending more time in the studio and making my shop launches again. (Edit: I also have managed to move some big ticket items so that means rearranging the ENTIRE studio…again. -cries- send help.)
Expected Projects: Cookbook, Graphic Novel, Voice work, Streams, & more Artwork.
I’m definitely looking to be a little more organized so that there’s less of that going on in 2026. The idea is to spend my time actually doing the things.
We’ve done a lot when you look back at it in full. I’ve done a lot of things I never expected and had an amazing year.
I want to fulfill a few project goals, and keep a good balance of work / life. I think I did well, but again, I’d like to do BETTER.
Stepping into 2026 I’m looking to stop being in such a hurry (still) and try to slow down enough to take care of myself, my family, and enjoy the process of all things.
Last year I didn’t do my typical “One Word” for the year kinda thing, but I am pretty sure the focus was “Balance.” Which I’ve about 80% managed. This next year, I think my new word is going to be… HARMONY.
